What is a good Wraith build? ›

Close. Close. As a Killer with little chase potential outside of his uncloak speed boost, arguably the most effective build for The Wraith includes a number of generator slowdown perks as well as something to help find Survivors.

The Wraith's power is the Wailing Bell. By ringing his bell, the Wraith can cloak, remaining that way until he chooses to ring his bell again. While cloaked and motionless, or more than 20 meters away from Survivors, the Wraith is totally invisible, detectable only by his growling.

If he's chasing you while cloaked, he can't hit you without uncloaking so you can just sit on a pallet and wait. If he doesn't uncloak, he can't hit you. If he DOES uncloak, you can drop the pallet on his face, make him wait to recloak, then break the pallet, and you run to the next pallet.

For Wraith's first upgrade always take her tactical ability cooldown so you're 5 seconds closer to an escape if you need it. For her second Legend upgrade, you'll want to take Fast Phase so when you need to get out of dodge, you can do it faster.

Once the ability is activated, Wraith becomes untouchable for 4 seconds and has her movement speed increased by 30%. When she enters this void area, your screen turns grey. When the ability is activated, you cannot interact with certain objects or open doors. You can, however, take zip lines.

Shining a Flashlight for 1.5 seconds upon the cloaked Wraith would stun him in place for 3 seconds. The Wraith could counter Lightburn by hiding behind an object when uncloaking.

Weaknesses. Silver - Wraiths have a great weakness to silver; silver burns their skin, being stabbed in the heart by a silver blade will kill them.

Wraiths are best known for their purported ability to "fly" and "walk through walls", actually referencing to them not stepping on a salt pile and their ability to teleport to players randomly.

If they're cloaked, vault back and forth over the window until they do something about it or leave you. In a more general sense, keep your eyes peeled, know where your safety spots are if you need to run, and try not to let them body block your window/doorway/pallet.

Tips. Wraiths can be attacked through walls with melee weapons or any other weapon whose attack animation does not end when it hits a wall. This makes spears especially effective. Any structure built at least six tiles above the surface will prevent a Wraith from levitating up and into it.

Just shoot arrows at the wraith. They drain your strength making you over encumbered, just drop all crap you've been toting around and hack at him with a silver weapon, longsword or claymore will do the job the best, you might need a potion or two if your armor is weak.

Wraith thrives on being unpredictable. Use cover and change up your movement pattern while using Into the Void and Dimensional Rifts. If you find enemy players consistently on your tail as soon as you come out of either abilities it might be time to rethink how you're moving.

Because you'll usually be in the thick of things as Wraith, you'll want to nab at least one weapon with a decent fire rate that packs a punch at close range. The EVA-8 and Mastiff shotguns are your best bets, but the Peacekeeper, Wingman, or any SMG are all excellent choices as well.
